Welcome to All-Star Quilt’s new blog! My name is Nancy Simpson, and I am the owner and seamstress in the unique business of making quilts out of your Athletic Jerseys and T-shirts. Quit throwing your old Sport apparel in the garbage or storing them away in your basement! I can create a piece of artwork that can be used or displayed for years to come! Using your old (but memorable!)T-shirts and jerseys, I can use the front print, back print (usually a number), or open the sleeve if it has an interesting design, in cutting the quilt squares. The squares are then artistically arranged and sewn together, and bordered with a double color-coordinating fabric. All quilts are double batted for comfort, and come in baby quilt, stadium quilt, twin quilt, queen quilt and even king quilt sizes.
